Assay Principle | This kit utilizes the double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) detection technique.Specific anti-human NRP2 antibodies are precoated on a high-affinity ELISA plate. Standard samples and test samples are added to the wells of the ELISA plate for incubation. After washing to remove unbound substances, the detection antibody labeled with horseradish peroxidase is added for further incubation. After washing, a colorimetric substrate, TMB, is added and the plate is incubated in the dark for color development. The intensity of the color reaction is directly proportional to the concentration of NRP2 in the samples.A stop solution is added to terminate the reaction, and the absorbance value is measured at a wavelength of 450 nm (with a reference wavelength range of 570-630 nm). |

Human NRP2 Predicted Functions
Enables identical protein binding activity. Predicted to be involved in nervous system development and outflow tract septum morphogenesis. Predicted to act upstream of or within several processes, including axon guidance; cellular response to leukemia inhibitory factor; and neural crest cell migration. Predicted to be located in plasma membrane. Predicted to be active in glutamatergic synapse. Predicted to be integral component of postsynaptic membrane.

Mouse Nrp2 Predicted Functions
Enables semaphorin receptor activity. Involved in several processes, including nervous system development; outflow tract septum morphogenesis; and ventral trunk neural crest cell migration. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including axon guidance; cellular response to leukemia inhibitory factor; and neural crest cell migration. Located in axon. Is active in glutamatergic synapse. Is integral component of postsynaptic membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; cardiovascular system; central nervous system; embryo mesenchyme; and limb. Used to study autism spectrum disorder. Orthologous to human NRP2 (neuropilin 2).
