Target Abstract:
CD20 is a phosphorylated protein molecule with a molecular weight of 33-37 kD, expressed in B lymphocytes and their precursors, but not in the earliest progenitor cells, and weakly expressed in follicular dendritic cells and a few T cells. It is mainly involved in regulating the proliferation and differentiation of B lymphocytes and plays an important role in the immune system. CD20 has been used as a target for immunotherapy of Hodgkin lymphoma due to its expression characteristics on the surface of malignant B cells and its non-endocytosis when binding with antibodies.
