Delivery | 4℃ Blue Ice Transport |
Components | 1× Washing Buffer 1× Assay Buffer Stop Solution Substrate TMB Standard Microplate Wells |
Assay Principle | This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. A monoclonal antibody specific for Mouse IL-1B has been immobilized onto microwells, and two pellets of the biotin-linked detect antibody specific for IL-1B (light yellow) and streptavidin-HRP (purple) are pre-placed in the microwells, sealed by the adhesive film. Standard or samples are pipetted into the wells, then IL-1B present is bound by the immobilized antibody and detect antibody, of which the latter is conjugated with streptavidin-HRP in the incubation. After washing, substrate solution reacts with HRP and color develops in proportion to the amount of IL-1B bound by the immobilized antibody. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured by microplate reader. |

Human IL1B Predicted Functions
Enables cytokine activity; integrin binding activity; and protein domain specific binding activity. Involved in several processes, including positive regulation of cytokine production; positive regulation of nitrogen compound metabolic process; and regulation of signal transduction. Acts upstream of or within cellular response to organic substance and cellular response to xenobiotic stimulus. Located in extracellular space. Implicated in several diseases, including autoimmune disease (multiple); blood platelet disease (multiple); eye disease (multiple); gastrointestinal system cancer (multiple); and lung disease (multiple). Biomarker of several diseases, including artery disease (multiple); autoimmune disease (multiple); bronchial disease (multiple); lung disease (multiple); and nose disease (multiple).

Mouse Il1b Predicted Functions
Enables cytokine activity. Involved in several processes, including negative regulation of cell communication; regulation of defense response; and regulation of lipid metabolic process. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including ectopic germ cell programmed cell death; positive regulation of intracellular signal transduction; and positive regulation of macromolecule metabolic process. Located in extracellular space and secretory granule. Is expressed in several structures, including dorsal aorta; early conceptus; hemolymphoid system; integument; and reproductive system. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in several diseases, including autoimmune disease (multiple); blood platelet disease (multiple); eye disease (multiple); gastrointestinal system cancer (multiple); and lung disease (multiple). Orthologous to human IL1B (interleukin 1 beta).
