Assay PrincipleThis kit utilizes the double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) detection technique.Specific anti-human Endostatin antibodies are precoated on a high-affinity ELISA plate. Standard samples, test samples, and biotinylated detection antibodies are added to the wells of the ELISA plate. After incubation, Endostatin present in the samples binds to the solid-phase antibodies and the detection antibodies. After washing to remove unbound substances, streptavidin-HRP labeled with horseradish peroxidase is added. After washing, a colorimetric substrate, TMB, is added and the plate is incubated in the dark for color development. The intensity of the color reaction is directly proportional to the concentration of Endostatin in the samples.A stop solution is added to terminate the reaction, and the absorbance value is measured at a wavelength of 450 nm (with a reference wavelength range of 570-630 nm).

Human COL18A1 Predicted Functions

Enables identical protein binding activity. Predicted to be involved in angiogenesis; endothelial cell morphogenesis; and extracellular matrix organization. Predicted to act upstream of or within positive regulation of cell migration; positive regulation of cell population proliferation; and positive regulation of endothelial cell apoptotic process. Located in extracellular exosome. Colocalizes with collagen-containing extracellular matrix. Implicated in primary angle-closure glaucoma.

Mouse Col18a1 Target Information

Mouse Col18a1 Predicted Functions

Predicted to enable identical protein binding activity. Predicted to be an extracellular matrix structural constituent. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including angiogenesis; endothelial cell morphogenesis; and positive regulation of endothelial cell apoptotic process. Located in basement membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; brain; genitourinary system; respiratory system; and sensory organ. Used to study pigment dispersion syndrome. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in primary angle-closure glaucoma. Orthologous to human COL18A1 (collagen type XVIII alpha 1 chain).

Rat Col18a1 Target Information

Rat Col18a1 Predicted Functions

Predicted to enable identical protein binding activity. Predicted to be an extracellular matrix structural constituent. Involved in response to hydrostatic pressure and response to xenobiotic stimulus. Located in extracellular space. Used to study hepatocellular carcinoma. Biomarker of gastric ulcer and ulcerative colitis. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in primary angle-closure glaucoma. Orthologous to human COL18A1 (collagen type XVIII alpha 1 chain).
