Components | 96-well polystyrene enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) plate coated with anti-KGF monoclonal antibody Human KGF freeze-dried standard KGF detect Antibody Standard Diluent HRP-labeled streptavidin Assay Buffer(10×) Substrate TMB Stop Solution Washing Buffer(20×) Sealing Film |
Assay Principle | This kit utilizes the double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) detection technique.Specific anti-human KGF antibodies are precoated on a high-affinity ELISA plate. Standard samples, test samples, and biotinylated detection antibodies are added to the wells of the ELISA plate. After incubation, KGF present in the samples binds to the solid-phase antibodies and the detection antibodies. After washing to remove unbound substances, streptavidin-HRP labeled with horseradish peroxidase is added. After washing, the TMB chromogenic substrate is added, and color development is carried out while avoiding light. The intensity of the color reaction is directly proportional to the concentration of KGF in the samples. A stop solution is added to terminate the reaction, and the absorbance value is measured at a wavelength of 450 nm (with a reference wavelength range of 570-630 nm). |

Human FGF7 Predicted Functions
Enables chemoattractant activity. Involved in several processes, including positive regulation of keratinocyte migration; positive regulation of keratinocyte proliferation; and protein localization to cell surface. Acts upstream of or within fibroblast growth factor receptor signaling pathway and positive regulation of epithelial cell proliferation involved in lung morphogenesis. Predicted to be located in extracellular region. Predicted to be active in cytoplasm and extracellular space. Biomarker of several diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease (multiple); leiomyoma; prostatic hypertrophy; reproductive organ cancer (multiple); and severe acute respiratory syndrome.

Mouse Fgf7 Predicted Functions
Predicted to enable heparin binding activity; receptor ligand activity; and type 2 fibroblast growth factor receptor binding activity. Involved in positive regulation of transcription, DNA-templated. Acts upstream of or within morphogenesis of an epithelium; positive regulation of epithelial cell proliferation; and regulation of branching involved in salivary gland morphogenesis by mesenchymal-epithelial signaling. Located in Golgi apparatus and extracellular region. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; brain; embryo mesenchyme; genitourinary system; and integumental system. Orthologous to human FGF7 (fibroblast growth factor 7).
